Meet Chef Hales

Hi everyone, I’m Chef Hales a 26-year-old private chef proudly serving the Hampton Roads area. My culinary journey began in 2020, fueled by a passion for food and a dream to create memorable dining experiences.


I trained at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, earning both a Diploma and Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts & Operations, as well as an Associate’s in Hospitality & Restaurant Management. While my education laid the foundation, I also consider myself self-taught constantly experimenting, learning, and perfecting my craft.


For over three years, I’ve built Exquisite Taste into more than just a private chef service. From intimate dinners and private parties to menu development, recipe management for meal preps, and even teaching cooking classes I bring creativity, professionalism, and passion to every table I serve.

For me, cooking isn’t just about food it’s about creating experiences that bring people together.
